Who is off 4th?

The Owl’s Nest – a community preschool is off 4th. We are located on the beautiful Jericho Military Site and still part of the Kitsilano Neighbourhood House family.
We had a wonderful time touring the “bus depot”. The children thoroughly enjoyed singing “The Wheels on the Bus”, whilst in motion. The best time was going through the bus wash. We went through twice! (no one got wet!) One child said he liked seeing where the buses were repaired. One just liked riding on the bus! On this particular day we were all “kids” on the bus.
Speaking of kids, none of our tadpoles have sprouted limbs yet. Their bodies are getting bigger, and the children have noticed the faces of the tadpole becoming more “frog” like. We are hoping some turn into frogs before the end of preschool.
Our volunteer has been helping the children create frog pictures. The children are learning they can take various shapes and by using glue, end up with an interesting looking frog.
