Zero Waste Kitsilano Workshop

In this workshop you’ll turn waste collected during a Kits Beach cleanup this summer into a stop-motion video about waste reducing and recycling. This event is open to the entire family: your children’s artistic skills are more than welcome to help make a fun creative video. If you cook at home, you’re also welcome: if you’ve ever wondered how could you replace saran wrap, straws, and other single-use items, this is your chance to see- and learn- better alternatives! If that alone isn’t enough motivation, come to learn how to start reducing your waste footprint at home, with zero waste washroom and kitchen workshops.
