The Kits Cares Cafe is a weekly free community dinner at the Kitsilano Neighbourhood House.
Each Thursday afternoon, a group of caring neighbours gathers to prepare a nourishing meal and turn the main hall into an inviting cafe.
Beautiful Dining Hall
Although the dinner launched just recently in November, already we’re seeing familiar faces each week. We welcome anyone looking for a tasty, nutritious dinner and new friends.
Kitsilano is home to a significant number of unsheltered and other highly vulnerable residents: pensioners, widows, people on disability, individuals with mental health challenges, single parent families, etc. We especially hope this dinner will become a regular part of their social calendar and support network.
Dinner Meal: Chicken quinoa & Salad Bread from Cobs Bread & Purebread
Thank-you to our community sponsors: Lord’s Grace Church, Redemption Church, Tenth Church Kitsilano, City Life Church, Kits Christian Community Church, Cobs Bread, Purebread, Greater Vancouver Food Bank, Union Gospel Mission.
Dinner is served every Thursday, 5:30pm – 7:00 pm (vegetarian option available), at Kits House
All are welcome!
