Profile: A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Kyle is an innovative and highly motivated marketing and communications leader. For almost a decade, Kyle supported senior federal government officials with organizational, policy and stakeholder engagement support. After falling in love with the west coast, Kyle relocated to Vancouver in July 2015 and is now working as a senior marketing manager with TELUS. In his spare time, Kyle loves to keep busy volunteering with a variety of community organizations, spending time at the beach, or catching up on the latest political developments. He looks forward to bringing his governance, communications and marketing experience to the table to support the important work of Kits Neighbourhood House

Kelly AllisonCo-Chair

Profile: Kelly is currently a faculty member at the UBC School of Social Work. She has a BA in psychology from the University of Guelph and an MSW from Wilfrid Laurier University with a clinical concentration with Individuals, families and groups. Kelly’s career includes working in a community children’s mental health clinic, working for the Ministry for Children and Family Development in child protection family preservation program.

Most of her career has been in health care social work at BC’s Children’s hospital. Kelly loves running in the trails or riding her bike to around Vancouver. She and her family have lived in Kitsilano for over 14 years.

Lisa ClementBoard Member

Profile: Lisa works as a communications and public relations professional and has over a decade of experience working in the public, private and non-profit sectors. This includes working on a large, complex energy and infrastructure projects focusing on issues management and building positive corporate reputations. Earlier in her career, Lisa held media relations roles with the Rick Hansen Foundation, Destination British Columbia and at large international sporting events like the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and the 2015 Pan American Games.

Originally from Ontario, Lisa ventured to the West Coast to pursue a degree in Professional Writing at UVic and then moved to Vancouver post graduation. Lisa found her forever home in Kitsilano and firmly planted roots beachside seven years ago. Outside of her professional endeavors, she loves travelling, and spending time outside hiking the local mountains, golfing, and going to Kits beach.
