UBC Law Students Legal Advice Program

The Law Students Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) offers free legal services for low-income people in the Lower Mainland. Law students, working under the guidance of supervising lawyers, provide legal expertise in a variety of areas including criminal matters, small claims, residential tenancies, WCB, CPP, employment insurance, social assistance, wills and criminal injury compensation. LSLAP is one of British Columbia’s largest legal aid organizations. People in need of legal assistance should make an appointment by calling (604) 822-5791.
