Program Relocation Updates

Kitsilano Neighbourhood House continues to serve the community with our wonderful programs that you know about and regularly participate in. With redevelopment plans in the near future (stay tuned at our website when the time will be announced), there has been the need to relocate all programs during construction.

Starting in January 2012 the current site at 7th and Vine will be going under re-development. Both Heritage builds will be pre-served. Our programs have been relocated to areas in Kitsilano.

Kitsilano Neighbourhood House is excited about a recent milestone in its journey of the redevelopment project at 7th & Vine.
Our Executive Director, Catherine Leach, has just signed a lease for the relocation of our administration, reception, and public access space during the time that Kits House is being renovated.    We are scheduled to move in on Monday, January 23, 2012.    Last day here at the house and all will be Friday, January 20th.
Our phone number and website address remains the same, our mailing address continues to be the same, but our street address will soon be:
3683 West 4th Avenue (above the Cove Pub at Alma), Vancouver
Although this new space is not wheelchair accessible, we will be able to accommodate those with a mobility issue elsewhere in our community of program spaces.    Please call us at 604-736-3588 and speak with Front Desk to make arrangements.
Over the past year, we have developed important partnerships with St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Shalom BC, and Kitsilano Community Centre.   This will continue to be the case during the time of our redevelopment, and we are very grateful for the expanding opportunities with these locations.
Please watch our website for continuing updates as we get closer to our move date, and know that we are still going to be in the Kitsilano neighbourhood and here for all of you.
