Improv for Teens
at Kits House
with Sabrina Chang
For Students in grade 10, 11 and 12!
Is your teen looking for a fun, laughter-filled way to build confidence, flex their creativity muscles, and make new friends? This improv class will teach them the core elements of improvisation, and help them strengthen their listening, communication, storytelling, and public speaking skills in a positive, safe, and supportive environment.
For her classes, Sabrina brings together her extensive background in theatre improv, music teaching and performance, and academic research in cognitive science at UBC. She has used improv skills training to help kids with social anxiety improve confidence and social skills, to facilitate business teambuilding, and to teach undergraduate cognitive science students about the mind and the brain. She is also currently a member of the improv group, The Quad Comedy.
