Kitsilano Neighbourhood House has been a hub of the Westside since the 1970’s.  We deliver important social services and accessible programming to people of all ages – newborns to seniors.  Serving a region including Kitsilano, West Point Grey, Arbutus Ridge, Dunbar, Kerrisdale and Shaughnessy – our membership is diverse and continues to grow!

Our Spring campaign has a target of $5000 for our youth programs to welcome more participants to both our Youth Drop-In Program and our new Youth Community Clean Up Volunteer Group.

Our Youth Drop-in Program runs weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30-7pm and provides life-skill workshops, socially engaging activities and healthy snacks. It is designed for grades 7-12; offering a safe and inclusive environment for youth to connect outside of school.  We host approximately 15-20 kids per week.

Our Youth Community Cleanup Volunteers meet once a month for 2 hours to help clean up neighbourhoods on the West Side. On average, 7-10 youth take part each month with the goal to support our environment and build leadership skills at the same time.

Here is how your donation helps

$25 provides pizza for Community Clean up Volunteers

$50 provides snacks for 10 youth for the month

$75 provides art supplies and board games for the month

$100 pays for educational out-trip expenses for 4 youth

Thanks to our generous local business partners; each donation received March 15 – April 15 is entered into a draw for 1 of 3 prizes.
