BC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program 2024

We’re thrilled to announce that the BC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program (FMNCP) is coming back to the Westside for its third year, and we are now accepting applications!

The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program (FMNCP) is a healthy eating initiative that supports lower-income individuals and families, pregnant people, and seniors. Coupons can be spent at all participating markets, including Kitsilano Farmers’ Market, and can be used to purchase vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, dairy, herbs, vegetable & fruit plants, honey, meat, and fish.

Each participant/household will receive $27 of coupons for 8 weeks. Coupons can be spent at participating markets from June 8 – Dec 22 (Kitsilano Farmers’ Market runs May 5 – Oct 27, 2024). The program in the Westside is administered by Kitsilano Neighbourhood House and made possible thanks to Vancouver Farmers Markets’ Fresh For Families Fund.

To apply, please, fill out the application form by June 9th  HERE!

Given the high demand, priority will be given to the participants who have not received the coupons in the past years.  We will be selecting coupon recipients via a random draw. We will be notifying coupon recipients in the third week of  June with details on how to pick up the coupons.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with the application, please, reach out to fmcoupons@kitshouse.org or at 604.736.3588  to leave a message.

*Please, note,  that application for the program does not guarantee participation!*
