Honouring Orange Shirt Day with Elder Nina at Kits House Plaza!
Join us on September 26th from 3-5 PM for a meaningful gathering in recognition of the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. This day is an opportunity for us to reflect on the lasting impacts of residential schools and honour the Survivors, their families, and those who never made it home.
Elder Nina will be with us, sharing her wisdom and offering special Orange Shirt cookies to commemorate the significance of the day. Come by, connect, learn, and take a moment to support reconciliation efforts in our community.
The Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG) are funded through the Vancouver Foundation, and the program is administered by Kitsilano Neighbourhood House for the West Side community.
