Expressive Art Group

This group is facilitated by Peggy Chan, who holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology major), a post-graduate diploma in Art Therapy and is a Registered Art Therapist.  Through the Expressive Arts program, Peggy offers a nourishing space for children to connect and create, with others, at a safe distance.  It also offers them a chance to express their feelings in a creative manner using acrylic paints, canvas, clay, old magazines for collages, glue and water paints. This program also offers children a place to practice mindfulness due to the pandemic, allowing them to express themselves through art on topics like conflict, fears and much more. No experience necessary and art materials are supplied!
