JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Childcare Educator On-Call works in all Kits House childcare programs. This involves working with children from ages 0-12 years at our programs at Kits House, The Collective Tennyson Childcare Centre and Dunbar Kids Club. Responsible for assisting with supervision of children, leading circle and activities, assisting with preparation of snack, ensuring children’s safety and light cleaning.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

  • Valid ECE or ECEA License to practice or Responsible Adult Certificate
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Minimum 1 year experience in licensed childcare
  • Minimum age 19 years (as per licensing regulations)

 

JOB DETAILS:

Salary: from $20.29/hr depending on experience plus $4/hr ECE Wage Enhancement for those who qualify

Schedule: Shifts between 7:30am-6:00pm / With 3 locations and 8 childcare programs, on-call educators can work as little or as much as their schedule allows.

Start Date: As Soon As Possible
