Early Childhood Educator – 3-5

Description of role and responsibilities: The ECE works in Bumble Bear Daycare with children aged 3-5 years. As a part of a diverse teaching team you will be co-responsible for developing and maintaining a quality childcare program inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophies. This includes curriculum design, program planning and delivery, communication with families and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in the program.

Hours: 35 hours week between the hours of 7am-6pm               

Rate: $20.25-$21.07/hr plus $2/hr ECE Wage Enhancement for those who qualify

Start Date: ASAP  

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Valid ECE or ECEA License to practice
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Minimum 1 year experience in licensed childcare
  • Minimum age 19 years (as per licensing regulations)
