Early Childhood Educator – Infant Toddler – Contract
Description of role and responsibilities: The Early Childhood Educator – Infant works in the infant program at the Collective Tennyson Childcare Centre. As a part of a diverse teaching team you will be co-responsible for developing and maintaining a quality childcare program inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophies. This includes curriculum design, program planning and delivery, communication with families and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in the program.
This is a contract position from April-July 16th 2021. Potential for permanent full time work available after end of contract.
Hours: 35 hours week between the hours of 7am-6pm
Rate: $20.25/hr-$21.26 (dependent on experience and license) +6% in lieu of benefits plus $2/hr ECE Wage Enhancement for those who qualify
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: July 16th 2021
· Valid ECE or ECE IT License to practice – ECEA’s will not be considered
· Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
· Criminal Record Check
· Minimum 1 year experience in licensed childcare
· Minimum age 19 years (as per licensing regulations)
