DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Early Childhood Educator – Toddler works in the Toddler program at the Collective Tennyson Childcare Centre. As a part of a diverse teaching team, you will be co-responsible for developing and maintaining a quality childcare program inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophies.  This includes curriculum design, program planning, and delivery, communication with families, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in the program..

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

  • Valid ECE License to practice
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a licensed childcare
  • Minimum age 19 years (as per licensing regulations)

JOB DETAILS:

Hours: 35 hours week between the hours of 7 am-6 pm

Rate:  $21.36-$22.11/hr (dependent on experience and license) plus $4/hr ECE Wage Enhancement for those who qualify

Start Date: As Soon As Possible
