We are honoured to have the opportunity to provide additional childcare spaces to the community through the third floor at Henry Hudson Elementary. At this new childcare centre there will be 95 new spaces, for children of all ages.
There is lots to do to prepare the site for the new childcare spaces — from childcare licensing to staffing to ensuring that all of the furniture and materials are in place to ensure we create engaging and enriching spaces for high quality learning for children in our care.
Our teams have been working diligently to prepare, and we hope to begin welcoming children into the program by late spring or early summer. To ensure a smooth transition, we have opened the for the new spaces while we finalize facility preparations. This will allow us to welcome children as soon as both the space and our team are ready.

For our new Maple Childcare Centre at Henry Hudson school age program, we are targeting welcoming children for the 2025-26 school year. For families wishing to express interest in school age care at Henry Hudson elementary, please join the Henry Hudson school age program waitlist, available via both the Hudson Childcare and Maple Childcare school age program pages. If you are already registered on the Hudson Childcare school age waitlist, you will remain on the list and do not need to re-register.
