Kits House is a welcoming place for older adults that empowers and encourages participation through improved access to information, peer support, healthful activities and programs that support independence and well-being. See below for the programs we have running at Kits House (2304 West 7th Ave) and the Seniors Resource Center (2425 Vine St).

Gentle Chair Yoga (Online)

These fun classes incorporate breathing techniques and guided meditation.  They are designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and posture all from the safety of a chair

Safe Seniors, Strong Communities

Kits House's new program Safe Seniors, Strong Communities aims to ensure that isolated seniors are able to access all resources that they need while staying safe and connected from home.

55 and Better

 55 and Better is a program that helps young seniors, aged 55 - 64, with light housekeeping to support them in continuing to live independently at home, and remain connected the community.

 

Better at Home

Continue living independently in your home with assistance with simple non-medical and day-to-day tasks. Services include transportation, volunteer visiting, assistance with grocery shopping & housekeeping.

Internet Basics

Register for 5 web-based workshops with SAGE, to teach you how to navigate online with competence!

Osteofit For Life

A gentle but effective work-out for those with osteoporosis, low bone density or at risk for fractures. Strengthen muscles - Improve balance - Reduce risk of injury.
