Better At Home

Better at Home helps seniors with simple, non-medical day-to-day tasks so they can continue living independently and stay connected to their community. The program is funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by United Way of the Lower Mainland.

Services include:

  • Transportation to medical appointments (screened and trained volunteer drivers)
  • Grocery shopping
  • Light housekeeping
  • Friendly visits (based on shared interests; phone-based during COVID restrictions)
