This is a volunteer-led initiative held on the second Saturday of each month, dedicated to keeping local parks and public spaces clean, cared for, and welcoming. Kits House has adopted Connaught Park through the City of Vancouver’s stewardship program, making it the main site for cleanups, though the group occasionally branches out into nearby areas.
This program offers a simple and meaningful way for community members to come together in shared responsibility for the environment, fostering a sense of pride and connection through collective action.
As a thank-you, volunteers receive a coupon for a delicious treat from a local food spot.
Meet up with the team leader(s) in front of Kits House. All equipment required for the cleanup is provided.
